Our guests find their gardening answers, unique plants, and lasting friendships at MVG as they purchase their annuals, perennials, tropicals, pond plants, houseplants, herbs, veggies, trees, and shrubs, or other plants.
Their one-stop shopping experience is completed as they also find fertilizers, plant health products, soil, tools, pottery and giftware, and then they can choose to have their product delivered or installed for them.
Our customers make MVG successful as we help them create their vision for their space.

Perennials/Trees and Shrubs Manager Requirements:
At least 2 years of landscaping experience in the following preferred:
Experience working with plants, greenhouses, or landscaping Valid Driver's license (Seasonal--parts of the year) Support with flat fill or maintenance activities as needed Soft skills:
The intangible soft skills are even more important than the hard ones, so they are listed first.
These include honesty, cooperation and teamwork, flexibility, personal accountability, dedication to quality, friendliness, and kindness.
Those who cannot refrain from backbiting or gossip, who cannot show up on time, who are always grumpy, who are cliquish, or who routinely make excuses for poor quality work should apply elsewhere.

Hard skills:
Experience/willing to learn to safely use a forklift, mini skid steer and hand tools Maintain full body mobility without restrictions and able to safely lift and maneuver trees and shrubs.
Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and dress appropriately.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Full-Time Permanent Salary:
$13-14/hr.
This is an hourly position.
