Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and supervise programs for children, young adults, and families throughout the library service area.
- Manage and organize library collections, including acquisition and shelving of materials - Assist children, young adults, and parents in locating and accessing library resources.
- Provide reference services and assist with research inquiries.
- Collaborate with other librarians and staff to improve library services.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in library science and technology.
- Promote library resources through social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited program preferred - Two to four years Library experience required.
- Proficiency in collection management techniques.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of databases and information retrieval systems.
- Ability to educate patrons on library resources and services.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
