Our boarding facility is in a beautiful country setting in New Carlisle.
General Accountabilities - Works with owners to oversee the maintenance and day to day operations of kennel.
- Ensures required tasks are completed for operational effectiveness.
- Organizes employee schedule.
- Delegates daily tasks to staff.
- Communicates with clients and evaluate their needs via phone, email, and in person.
- Builds client relationships.
- Cleans and disinfects kennels, sweeps, washes dishes, etc.
- Replenishes food and water supplies.
- Feeds animals according to schedules and feeding instructions.
- Exercises dogs to maintain their physical and mental health.
- Maintains schedule for kennel to ensure appropriate capacity.
- Operations including billing, orders, supplies, etc.
- Completes exit baths.
The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Schedule:
Split shift 7am-11am & 4pm-7pm, one day off during the week, & every other weekend & some holidays.
Job Qualifications - Education:
High school or equivalent education level - At least 1 year of kennel technician experience (boarding facility or animal shelter) Skills - Time management - Judgment and decision making - Leadership and initiative - Confidence with dogs of all ages and sizes Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$37,000.
